Borgward International Meeting Cuxhaven 2010 |
12 Borgward enthusiasts and 4 cars from the UK converged on Cuxhaven in September to be part of the largest annual Borgward gathering

We stopped over night in Zeddam at the Hotel Ruimzich
Peter, John, Nick and Rufus after wild boar and mash dinner in the De Lange Waard restaurant.

We then drove on to north Germany stopping first at the Hotel Stadt Cuxhaven followed by dinner in the Hapag-Hallen we joined up with who had flown over.
The Hapag-Hallen was built between 1900-1913 and used to book in passengers who were emigrating to the U.S.A. Hundreds of thousands set out from here on Hapag line ships (Hamburg-American Packet company formed in 1847) for a new start across the pond.
